What do you get when you combine the primal, evocative rhythms of Africa, with the intricate complexities of Latin drumming, mixed with a healthy dose of evolution of compelling Sacred song and dance that has evolved since the early 19th century?
You get a Tambor. A Sacred drum and Dance party for an Orisha. It's a rare opportunity for Anglos to step into a religion veiled in initiation and mystery. And it's a lot of fun!

We gathered for a Beltaine celebration at Four Quarters, marking a splendid start to the 30th year on this land as we welcomed the warmth of spring. As nature does, it bestowed upon us a beautiful gift—the opportunity to celebrate our collective resilience and gratitude under stormy skies.
The 2024 Wheel of the Year is at the Printer!

The 2024 Wheel of the Year is on Press! Huzzah! We worked really hard going into the winter holidays with final layout, editing, and pre-press to turn around the 2024 Wheel of the Year, and gotten our annual calendar out to our press in a good way! We’ve our usual heady mix of Calendar content, all about Four Quarters, relevant and thoughtful articles, essays, and photography – almost all of it Member-provided. We like to think we can be rightfully proud of that!
This is the earliest we’ve able to turn around the calendar in over a decade, and all it took was iron discipline sticking to our deadlines, some hard work, an acceptance of losing a page or two, and not waiting around for people who said, “I’m thinking of writing something.” Pro tip: Write it anyway, then we’ll have it for next year. Well done, and thank you to everyone involved with the effort!

It’s that time of the year again! New Stones are Risen. Samhain has passed. Thanksgiving and Winter Solstice are on the horizon. So once again the Board of Directors, and captive Art Director and Designer Kurt Griffith retire to our monk’s cells and engage in the annual ritual of cobbling together the Wheel of the Year for 2024. We have our pencils, calendars, event planners, astronomical tables, and even a crystal ball, bones, tarot decks focused on eighteen months out...

You don’t need our permission to write an article. JUST WRITE IT and get it to us. Material that we have, we can review and choose to use. Stuff that we don’t have, however brilliant the idea, we can’t use!
