Stones Rising XXX

Bringing the towering “Flame” Stone into the Stone Cricle – Stones Rising 2017.
Eight days until Stones Rising!!! And the Farmhouse is buzzing with activity and excitement as supplies are ordered and plans are carefully laid out for the largest Stones Rising in twenty-five years!
We are in the process of updating the schedule with all of the Stone Moving, Ceremonies, Pathways of Service, and other content so you can keep and eye on the Stones Rising page to see the updated schedule sometime early this week.
But, while we are getting that together, I wanted to share at least SOME of what we have planned this year because it's all really good stuff, and it will give you some things to look forward to!
First, we want to talk about the Stones! After all, they are the “Stars” of Stones Rising!
Friday Evening will start with a NIGHT PULL!!! This beloved tradition has not been seen here in many years. It is a truly magical and touching experience to move the Stone, under the stars, in silence, lit only by the dancing lights of fifty flickering torches!
After a Night Pull, a new Stone is brought into the Stone Circle - Stones Rising 2014.
And, a little about The Rising itself! This is going to be a very technical and challenging Rising, as we continue work on The Great North Copse. Be sure to keep a close eye on the Stone People as they perform dazzling feats of engineering!
We will also be moving a Stone on Saturday morning, but those details are still in the works-anything at all might happen! Stay Tuned, and be sure to be there!
Our Ceremonial Theme for this Year is “The Roots of the Rising”
Our Ceremonies will trace the evolutionary history of Stone Circles from the earliest beginnings 175,000 years ago, (Wednesday night) and follow their growing complexity and development on each successive night, until we finally arrive at the celebration of our own Stone Circle at Consecration! (No, I'm not going to give too many details about Ceremony, I never do, you'll just have to come and see for yourself!) But Ceremonial teams have been hard at work, and the rituals are well thought out, and impactful.
And we have another returning favorite: Altars Shining Everywhere
Some talented and creative folk have been working for months to plan and create altars for Sacred Sites across the Land. We will offer guided tours, including a chauffeured tour for those who need a ride, to view these altars, and experience the beauty and magic of Four Quarters on Stones Eve. We will also have a list of the Altars available at Coffee Dragons so you can take your own tour. We are still looking for 3 or 4 “Tour Guides” for this Ceremony. Introducing “On the Rocks With the Stones: A Mocktail Party!”
Yup. It's our birthday and we're throwing a fancy dress cocktail party, minus the booze! Please join the fun by wearing fancy dress to Consecration, and join the party which will immediately follow the ritual. The party will feature 4 signature non-alcoholic tasty beverages, one for each Quarter-one is even a little spicy! It will also feature plenty of social time with friends old and new, some music, and time to spend with the Stones! (Fancy dress optional, of course!)
Stones Rising is such a unique experience, with so much to offer, we are so glad that you can be a part of it!
