The Visitors House
May 25, 2026
In the spring of 2026 Four Quarters purchased an adjoining home from an elderly neighborhood friend who wanted to "move to town," to be closer to family.
While built in 1975, during her ownership the home had been extensively renovated with new roof and windows, new floors, heating and central air conditioning. An added wood stove makes for cozy winter evenings.
Sited on 3.3 acres just 1/3 of a mile from the Four Quarters Farmhouse, the home has 1,400 square feet of interior space with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and living-rooms. Full kitchen and dining room with separate full laundry room opening to a 14' by 35' semi-covered deck. All of the kitchen and laundry appliances are new. The master bedroom includes an en-suite full bath and walk-in closet. The two smaller bedrooms share a second full bath.
As of this writing the building sleeps three with a Queen bed in the Master bedroom, and a twin in one of the back bedrooms. We are in process of selecting and ordering new Queen bedsteads and furniture for the two smaller bedrooms. By mid summer the home will sleep six in the bedrooms and two more on a living room futon sofa. The households bedding and quilts are being converted to 100% cotton and all bath toweling is provided. A coffee station and minimal kitchen equipment are provided, but you should bring your own kitchen equipment if you plan on serious cooking during your stay.

Four Quarters Members may book the Guest house by the person/room.
The Master Suite is $90 a night (sleeps two), the Twin Suite (sleeps one) is $50 a night.
Non-members may book the whole house.
Until new furniture arrives the whole-house is $175 a night.
After our new furniture arrives the home will sleep six at $225 a night.
You must call the office to book the Guest House. That's 814-784-3080.
