The Coffee Dragons need your help! Helping brew and serve the fiery elixer from the devine tropical bean is a wonderful and VERY helpful way to serve the community during Fires Rising! Although signing up for a time commitment helps us plan - spontaneous service on the spot is more than welcome! Please post here if interested!! And/or stop by to say hello when you join us on the Land! Many Thanks from the Dragons!

Very well said, Aase! Yes, this year's installment of Fires Rising is 100% 4qf members bred, driven and run.

We've been spreading the word and have managed to find some newcomers who think the idea of dancing around a fire all night while the drums beat, digeridoos do there thing and people belt out melodic chants is pretty cool and groovy. I happen to know that a lot of the Membership thinks that way too. And, as Aase said, if you can't make all 3 nights, no sweat. Come Friday, or Saturday for that matter. We want you there anyway we can get you!

So stop on by and check out this crazy little thing called Alchemy. Who knows, you just might like it.

Jon/Argon~

It is almost time for the Fires to Rise again. And what Fires these will be!

Your loving team of co-laborators have been working hard all year, striving to combine the beauty and power of Fire Circle Alchemy traditions with the joyfully chaotic creativity of our Four Quarters Tribe. The process of making this festival 100% our own started last year, and lots of key faces from last year are back this time around, lending their energies in various ways to making sure that this event will be truly spectacular.

We're planning for 3 all night sacred fires with lots of structure and lots of build-in flexibility. Be on the land by Thursday evening if you can, and co-create the Fire of Four Elements, where much shall be revealed. Friday evening, the Fire of Seven Planets shall see us transform lead into gold in our spirits and our lives, working the 7 chakras through metaphors of alchemy. And then Saturday, open up to Infinite Possibility, visit the interior of the earth, tap into the deep fire, and BRING IT ON!

Things to look forward to:

*3 focused, powerful all night sacred fires

*Collective creative self-expression - always our focus, and our festival has always been very strong in instruments, voice, and movement. This year we're working to delve deep into visual forms of expression as well.

*The ability to arrive when you are able - Saturday arrivals are welcome (though we encourage you to come Thursday or Friday if you can, to experience the full power)

*A later kick-off for fire, giving us a slightly shorter distance to the sunrise, and a slightly later start to our afternoon - Sleep is part of the Great Design, and Sacred Too.

*Workshops on word magic, drumming, chanting, cathartic art, and more.

*Room inside the sacred space marked by our prayer ties for a variety of arts and crafts - just bring your skills and whatever equipment you need. (Metalworkers: see fire tenders during daylight to talk safety setup!)

*Drumming with Kenny Crampton, Kokopelli & Nadine, cathartic art and other fiery fabulosity with Badger Sophia, Ziona doing all kinds of stuff that Ziona does, Roxi sharing word magic, "our" fire tender Jon being a fire mage, the lovely Tara T, quite possibly Fox, Chelsea the energizer bunny, Miriam dancing beautifully, yours truly threatening a repeat performance of Fractal Air if conditions warrant, ... and whatever YOU bring on! TONS of room at the fire circle.

Come, come, whomever you are:
Wanderer, worshipper, lover of leaving...
It does not matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come even if you've abandoned your vow a thousand times.
Come. Come again. Come.
-Rumi

FractalAir - It is safe, and fun too!
