My dear family of fire, my dear brothers and sisters of the Fractal Air:

If you should find yourself in traveling distance of the great megalopolis of STATE COLLEGE, PA on Saturday, August the 15th, please come:

It's a BRING YOUR OWN MEAT party!
Come celebrate summer, life, and joy at our house - it's the somewhat-annual BRING YOUR OWN MEAT party!

We have beer on tap (Otto's Double D!), a variety of other tasty adult beverages including beer, mead, and liquor, and we'll have snack food too. And the fire and the barbecue will be lit, plus the stove and oven will be available too. All YOU need to bring is your own meat (or a delicious healthful meat alternative).

Other things to bring:
*Your partner
*The kids during daylight hours (there will be kid sleepy space available if it's needed, just speak up)
*A snack or covered dish to share if you feel so inspired.
*An instrument to play around the fire, if you want - merrymakin' around the fire is a lot more fun when there's music involved!

We plan to kick off around 3:30 in the afternoon, with grilling and hanging out and playing with the kids.
Then around 7 or so, we'll be kicking up the fire, offering some rounds of toasts, and getting the fire circle sound making started. The fire is open and welcomes all kinds of sounds - drums, songs, poetry, guitars, ukuleles, harps, saxophones, washboards, kazoos, the sky is the limit! And dancers too, and poi, and whatever else you have up your sleeve, come share and play with us! Plan for things to get more and more eclectic and creative as the sun starts to set and darkness falls upon us. We'll keep the fire and sound going until 11:30 or until the neighbors tell us to shut up.
After that we'll move things inside to wrap up the night.

Plenty of crash space available, just let us know!

(A note from the safety committee: Many of our guests are cops and law enforcement officers, so please: Keep your intoxications and intoxicants legal.)

Wanna come but have no idea where OUR HOUSE is? Send me an email, private message, or text message and i'll give you the address and directions!

Know someone who would totally groove on the fire circle? Let us know - new friends are definitely welcome, we'd just like to know that they're coming and who they're coming with.

I'd love to see you there!

-Aase
