Four Quarters is located on the edge
of the Allegheny plateau in central Pennsylvania, just 3 miles North of Exit 68 of
Maryland's Interstate 68, 15 miles West of the intersection of I-70 and I-68 at Hancock
Maryland. In fact the number 68 is all you really need to find us; all of the turns from
the exit ramp are marked. We are 100 miles West of Washington DC and Baltimore, about 3 hours' driving time from Philadelphia and about 2.5 hours from Pittsburgh. |

Local Shopping and Supplies
We have three local country stores, all about 3 miles from Four
Quarters.
The Bellgrove is located right
off exit 68 of I-68. It has a small cafe, gas and diese, and the only garage and towing
service in the area. The owners, Robin and Sue Jay, have always been very supportive of
Four Quarters and we encourage you to stop in for a visit.
Ritz Brothers is a genuine
old-style country store and is worth the visit for that alone. In addition to gas, bailing
wire and cattle feed, they also have the only completely stocked grocery in the area. Mr.
Ritz raises and butchers the meat he sells and you will have a hard time finding anything
finer.
The Road Kill is famous
hereabouts for the fine country-style food served up by Barb Snyder, its owner. You will
also find gas and a small grocery department. Try the Coconut pie.
See the Quick Map above for directions

Cumberland Maryland is a large city and even has a WalMart, gee! Take
Interstate 68 through Cumberland and get off at the La Vale exits to shop till you drop.
